    CHIN Dermal Fillers

    Chin fillers worthing

Chin Filler can enhance the overall appearance of the chin area. Dermal Fillers are an excellent way to shape and adjust a more satisfactory profile.

An under formed or weak chin can be genetic and can pitch into a patient’s overall confidence.

Dermal Filler can be used on the chin to stiffen the skin and define the chin and jowl area, lessening the weakness of a weak chin. Chin filler can lengthen and enhance ones lower facial appearance creating a more balanced profile.

A chin filler injection is a nonsurgical procedure that alters the contour and definition of the chin. It is a popular procedure for people who are self-conscious about their side profile and want a more balanced facial structure.

Chin fillers can create a stronger jawline, making the face appear more youthful. These injections can also add more definition between the face and neck.

Chin filler injections are relatively simple procedures.

Chin fillers involve injecting temporary dermal fillers, which are gel-like substances, into the soft tissues of the jaw. They are an alternative to permanent chin implant surgery.

A PRP facial treatment is a more natural cosmetic treatment that involves injecting platelet-rich plasma (PRP) into the face. PRP is a component of blood that contains growth factors and other proteins that promote healing on a cellular level.

When the PRP is re-injected into the skin, growth factors are released by the platelets. This promotes healing and stimulates collagen production. Collagen, found naturally in the body, is the foundation of a youthful appearance. During the aging process less collagen is produced resulting in decreased volume, lines and wrinkles. Through stimulating collagen production, PRP helps to promote even skin tone, reduced scarring, improved skin texture resulting in healthy, resilient, hydrated skin.

    What is Plasma?

Plasma is the clear liquid part of the blood remaining once all other cellular components are removed. Plasma carries out many functions in the body including fighting diseases, healing and hydration. During PRP treatment the plasma is used to suspend a high concentration of your own platelets.

    What Are Platelets?

Platelets are small cells in the blood that contain a high number of growth factors which help to heal injured tissue or damaged skin. Platelets are required for blood clotting.

How Often Should I Get PRP Face Treatments?

We recommend getting PRP injections for at least three months for the best treatment results. Most people see results after three treatments. But, of course, this may vary depending on how well your skin responds to the platelet-rich plasma injections.

Are PRP Skin Treatment Results Permanent?

Technically, no. But after completing an entire treatment plan and with proper aftercare, you should see results for up to three years.

    Before

During the consultation the beautician will discuss your specific concerns and expectations and explain to you any risks that come with the treatment. After a consultation with the doctor a light numbing cream will be applied to the injection site, for 30 minutes for added comfort. During this time a small 10ml sample of your blood will be drawn from your arm. This will be spun in a centrifuge to separate the platelets from the whole blood cells, creating your own Platelet Rich Plasma.

    During

Once the numbing cream has taken effect your own platelet rich plasma is re-injected using a very fine, sterile needle. Multiple injections are required to give an over-all improvement to the area of concern.

What Should You Do After a PRP Facial?

After a PRP facial, you can expect some degree of redness, swelling, and minor skin sensitivity. These effects are usually temporary and should go away in a few days. You may want to avoid intense activity or sun exposure for about 2-3 days post-treatment, allowing any redness or swelling to diminish. Makeup should be avoided immediately after the procedure, and it’s recommended to follow the post-treatment care instructions provided by the medical professional. Instructions may include:

      1. Avoid touching your face for at least 6 hours.

      2. Avoid applying makeup on your face until the next day.

      3. Take special care not to irritate your skin by touching it. If you need to touch your face, wash your hands with soap and water.

      4. Don’t rub the skin, especially when washing and drying your face.

      5. Use pain relievers like ibuprofen and acetaminophen to reduce any discomfort after the treatment. Especially if you notice pain or swelling lasting longer than 24 hours.

      6. You can apply cold compresses wrapped in a clean, dry towel to help reduce swelling and discomfort as well.

      7. Plan to sleep on your back with your face slightly elevated for at least two days after your treatment.

      8. You should also avoid using exfoliating facial cleansers for about three days or 72 hours.

      9.  No skin resurfacing or chemical peel procedures for two weeks.

    Chin fillers worthing

    Marionette Line Filler

The marionette lines, or sad lines, are the lines that develop from the corner of the mouth and extend towards the jawline. Once they develop they tend to be one of the more prominent features of ageing in the face and the one that people often dislike the most.

Often when we are listening to another person speak we look at the mouth area, meaning the marionette lines are in a particularly visible areas of the face. However, these lines are relatively easy to treat with dermal filler and the overall effect of this profound when it comes to anti-ageing.

Who can get marionette line filler?

You can get marionette line filler if you are:

    • Over the age of 18

    • Not pregnant or breastfeeding

We would also like to be aware if you are taking any anticoagulant, or antiplatelet, medication, although this does not prevent you from having treatment. You will also have to make us aware if you have an allergy to local anaesthetic, as the majority of filler contains lidocaine and we will have to choose a product that does not contain this if you do in fact have an allergy.

    Complications and side effects

The most common side effect of marionette line filler treatment is mild bruising and swelling. Arnica cream will be provided following the treatment, as part of your post-treatment pack, in order to increase the speed at which any bruising resolves (typically 5-7 days, up to 2 weeks for deeper haematomoas). The swelling occurs because the filler itself is made from hyaluronic acid and this attracts water, so a degree of swelling is unavoidable for around 1 week after treatment. This is generally not noticeable to the eye, but will often feel lumpy in the days post-treatment. However, this lumpiness then settles once the swelling reduces.

    Navigating Dermal Filler Aftercare

    Immediate Aftercare

Once you step out of our beauty salon, there are a few key instructions to keep in mind:

    Avoid Disturbing the Treated Area

While the treated area may feel slightly different at first, it’s important to avoid touching, rubbing, or applying pressure. Doing so could potentially displace the filler or even lead to complications.

    Stay Hydrated

Hydration is a fundamental component of healthy skin. Drinking plenty of water is particularly vital after dermal filler treatment, as these injectables work by attracting water molecules, thereby amplifying their volumizing effect.

    Refrain from Intense Physical Activity

For the first 24-48 hours post-treatment, it’s best to minimise vigorous exercise. Such activities could increase blood flow, potentially causing the filler to move from the treatment area.

    Aftercare in the First Week

The first week following your dermal filler treatment  involves preserving the results and reducing potential side effects.

    Addressing Swelling and Bruising

Mild swelling, bruising, or redness at the injection site are common side effects. Use a cold pack on the area to alleviate these symptoms. It’s advisable to avoid aspirin and alcohol, both of which can exacerbate bruising.

    Limit Sun and Heat Exposure

Sun and heat can worsen swelling or discomfort post-treatment. It’s recommended to shield the treated area from the sun, and if necessary, use a high SPF sunscreen.
