Vitamin B-12 injections in Sompting, Worthing
1 to 1 academy course
Cost - £250

Your body uses vitamin B-12 to make red blood cells, nerves, DNA and protein. B12 also helps your body metabolise fat and carbohydrates for energy. Although your body is unable to generate B12, the vitamin is readily available from dietary sources including dairy, meat and fish. If you develop a vitamin B12 deficiency, intramuscular or subcutaneous injections may be necessary.
The course covers:

B12 deficiency, pernicious anaemia, diagnosis, treatment and management. It also covers sign and symptoms of anaemia.
We review inclusion and exclusion criteria and identification of appropriate patients. Delegates will get the opportunity to review practice with hands on practical demonstrations of how to give injections correctly.
As all of our courses, this includes:

· practice on a live models.
· in depth theory
